What plastic substrates do you offer for wholesale sign printing?
We offer four plastic substrates: polyethylene (great for outdoor use), polystyrene (bright white, ideal for indoor POP displays), PVC/Sintra (popular for indoor applications and point of purchase signage), and UltraBoard foam board (premium, for interior use).
Can polystyrene signs be used outdoors?
Polystyrene is not recommended for outdoor use. It yellows and becomes brittle when exposed to sunlight over time. Polystyrene is best for indoor signage and POP displays.
How do I choose between PVC, Styrene, and Polyethylene?
PVC and styrene are best for internal use, point-of-purchase displays, and indoor applications. Polyethylene is ideal for outdoor markings with UV inhibitors that prevent yellowing or cracking - it's very tough and provides excellent outdoor durability.
Do you offer die cutting for plastic signs?
Yes, we can die cut all plastic materials into just about any shape you need. Whether it's simple geometric shapes or complex custom contours, our die cutting capabilities work with PVC, styrene, polyethylene and UltraBoard.
Which plastic material is most cost-effective?
It depends on your application. For exterior use, polyethylene is the best value despite costing slightly more than styrene. Styrene is very flat but flimsy - strictly for indoor use. 3mm PVC offers an excellent smooth indoor option but is more expensive than styrene or polyethylene.
